Woodway Water View Contemporary Remodel

Overlooking Puget Sound from high above lies the water view homes of Woodway, just north of Seattle. With plenty of space to move, each lot was designed to bring in light and views. This modest contemporary home had not had many updates over the years so it was in store for kitchen and bathroom makeovers as well as other fine touches. The main foyer received a new tile entrance made from imported Italian marble and the hardwood floors received a resurfacing and refinishing to match a more updated color palette. The kitchen counters and cabinets were replaced and the door separating the entertaining section of the house with the bedroom section was removed to create a more open feel. The master bathroom was fully gutted and a new tile shower was custom built as well as the soaking tub surround. The basement received a new mud room and new carpets throughout. New paint and landscaping finished off the job for the owners who now enjoy water view sunsets from their refinished porch.
